1. Who we are, and what we do

Klin Source is an import and sourcing service operating in Bangladesh. We are your buying agent, not the manufacturer. When you place an order, you instruct us to buy a specified product from a third-party supplier in China on your behalf, import it, clear it through customs and deliver it to you.

"We" and "us" mean Klin Source. "You" means the person or business placing the order. "The goods" means what you ordered.

2. Your account

An account is created the first time you sign in with a code sent to your phone or email. You are responsible for keeping access to that number or inbox, because anyone who receives a code can reach your account. Tell us immediately if you lose control of either.

The details you give us must be accurate. A delivery sent to an address you mistyped is not a failed delivery on our part, and re-delivery is chargeable.

3. When an order becomes binding

Adding to your cart is not an order. Placing an order and paying the deposit is an offer to buy, and a contract is formed when we confirm it, not when you pay. Until confirmation we may decline any order, for example where stock has gone, where a listed price was clearly wrong, or where the goods cannot lawfully be imported. If we decline, your deposit is returned in full.

Orders are subject to a minimum order value and, per product, to the supplier's own minimum quantity. Both are shown before you pay.

4. Prices, and what they include

• Prices are in Bangladeshi taka and include the supplier's price, domestic freight inside China, currency conversion and our service fee.
• International shipping is charged separately, by weight, and is calculated after your parcel is weighed on arrival. See Shipping Charge.
• The price of a confirmed order does not change afterwards, whatever the exchange rate does in the meantime.
• Where a price is obviously wrong, for instance a decimal point in the wrong place, we may cancel and refund rather than supply. We will not do this to escape a price you could reasonably have believed.

5. Payment

A deposit is payable when you place the order, and the balance together with the shipping charge is payable on delivery. The percentages are published on Shipping Charge. Goods remain our property until the full amount for them has been paid.

We may hold or cancel an order where the balance is not settled, and where a delivery is refused at the door after the goods have been imported we may charge the costs we have already incurred.

6. Weights, estimates and quantities

Product weights shown on this site come from supplier listings and are approximate. Shipping is charged on the weight measured in Bangladesh, or on volumetric weight where that is greater. Estimates are for planning and are not a quote.

Wholesale suppliers occasionally ship a small over- or under-count. Where the shortfall is material we refund it, as set out in Returns & Refund.

7. Delivery times

Transit times are estimates, not guarantees. They are counted from the day goods leave China, and they are affected by supplier lead times, freight schedules, customs, weather and public holidays in both countries. We keep you informed and we do not pay compensation for delay, which is why time-critical orders should be discussed with your account manager before they are placed.

8. Product descriptions and suitability

Listings, photographs and specifications originate with the supplier and are machine-translated. We show them faithfully; we do not verify every claim in them. At wholesale prices, minor variation in colour, finish and packaging between production runs is normal and is not a defect.

Checking that goods are legal to import and fit for your purpose is yours. That includes any licence, standard, certification or labelling your intended use requires. We will not knowingly import prohibited or restricted goods, and we may cancel an order at any point if it turns out to be either.

9. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Governed by Returns & Refund, which forms part of these terms. In short: cancellation is free before we buy, partial afterwards, and not available for a change of mind once goods have shipped. Wrong, damaged, missing or undelivered goods are refunded or replaced in full.

10. Our liability

We are liable for our own failures: goods we lose, damage, misdeliver or fail to import. Our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order, including its shipping.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost sales or the cost of a substitute bought elsewhere. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

11. Things outside anyone's control

Neither side is in breach for a delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control: natural disaster, war, epidemic, strike, port or border closure, a change in import law, or the actions of customs authorities. Where such an event prevents an order entirely, we refund what you have paid for the part not delivered.

12. Using this site

You may use this site to research and buy goods. You may not scrape the catalogue, resell or republish our data, attempt to reach parts of the site you are not authorised to reach, or interfere with its operation. Catalogue content belongs to the suppliers and their marketplaces; the site, its design and its text belong to us.

13. Changing these terms

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when the order was confirmed, so a later change cannot alter an agreement you have already entered into.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.
